How to Redesign a Closet in Any Room of Your Home
3 minute read, by Closet America, on Oct 9, 2018
You might not think you spend much time in your closet, but chances are, you do. And when you’re spending too much time in your closet, especially when you’re in a hurry, you could be halfway to your destination instead of sifting through an unorganized mess. Closet America can show you just how to redesign a closet, in any room of your home, so that you can spend less time searching for an item and more time marveling at your closet’s organization. We’ve been redesigning closets across areas in Maryland and Virginia for years and we can do the same for your home.
How to Redesign a Closet: The Closet America Process
We know the feeling: you’ve stared at your closet for hours. You’ve moved hats from one shelf to another, thinking that would free up space. You’ve tried tossing things on the top shelf, even though it’s clearly full. You’re ready for a redesign, but you’re worried it’ll be too difficult. Trust us, it won’t be.
All you have to do is contact us and our team of expert designers will take it from there.
Free Consultation and 3D Design
Once you contact us, we’ll send an expert designer to your house for a free consultation. This is free of both cost and obligation. The designer will talk to you, get a sense of what you want, what your tastes are, and the kind of room you’ll need. Then they’ll take precise measurements of the space available and design a closet system tailor-made for your needs.
The best part is, you design it together. This isn’t some shelving system, mass-produced and sold in a store. You’ll make tweaks to it together, perfecting it until it is just the way you want. Then, when you agree to the design, your unique blueprints are sent to our workshop.
Handcrafting Your Piece From the Best Materials
From there, our craftspeople take over, using these precise, to-the-centimeter measurements to create just the right system you require. We use the latest in computer-assisted manufacturing technology to assist our engineering team, who cut and finish every piece. Every piece is then hand-inspected to ensure quality.
It’s here that they create and/or install some (or all) of these additions to your closet, such as:
-
Adjustable shoe shelves
-
Laundry hampers
-
Jewelry drawers
-
Ironing board
-
Belt and tie racks
-
Wardrobe lift
All of these are integrated precisely into the design. And now? It’s time for installation.
A Painless Installation
Our installation process is designed to make your life as easy as possible. You closet system is packed into a specially-outfitted van, padded so as to avoid any potential scratches or nicks along the way. Our installers arrive on time, get the job done in one day, and they’re absolute neat-freaks. We make sure your closet is cleaner than when we left. After all, we’re all about making your life easier and that means no installation annoyances.
Industry-Leading Follow-Up
Our follow-up isn’t just in the form of our industry-best transferable warranty (though you’ll like that). It’s that we want to make sure you’re happy. We know that life gets in the way and it is hard to find time to report any minor imperfections. That’s why we follow up with you a few weeks after installation. In the small chance that something isn’t perfect, or you want a minor adjustment, we’re happy to come out to fix it.
