These A-List Celebrity Closets Will Leave You Star Struck

3 minute read, by Closet America, on Jul 28, 2020

Ever wondered what the inside of a top celebrity closet looks like? Did you ever stop to think how Taylor Swift’s closet would differ from fashion designer and actress Nicole Richie’s? What about the Kardashians? Do men have such expansive spaces as well? Or was that just in 50 Shades of Grey?

Read on to take a peek into the most talked-about celebrity closets to see exactly where they keep all those clothes.

Traditional and Classic

Celebrity closets are far from traditional. And while these closets may measure up to the size of a football field, classic elements and muted tones appear in many celebrity closets.

The former E! News host Guiliana Rancic chose a simple décor for her closet; the atmosphere is both clean and forgiving.  At the room’s center, Rancic chose an island with a modern flare. Her closet, designed by Lisa Adams of LA Closet Design, is white and gray – allowing for her clothes to add additional pops of color. For jewelry and hanging pieces, suede panels line a few interior walls, while a floor to ceiling unit with glass dividers accommodates all types and styles of purses. Rancic’s custom-built closet is 200 square feet in size.

Designers Tori Sigman and Dannielle Albrecht created a closet for Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, making sure the actress could see every shoe and every bag.

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting also chose a white, simple décor for her closet – though her fully-equipped beauty salon is something worth noting. Her custom walk-in closet, designed by Toni Sigman & Associates, is furnished with a full-wall white shelving unit for her prized shoe collection and elegant handbags. A white island – an additional storage unit – occupies the center of the closet. Cuoco-Sweeting tops off her personal space with a cappuccino maker and a mini-fridge.

Woodsy Vibes

While a classic feel may suit some celeb styles, others prefer a more rustic approach.

Olivia Wilde’s red carpet fashion is always making headlines, but her closet’s décor of cabin-style cedar-lined walls and flooring make it seem like you’re walking into a weekend getaway cabin. Industrial pipe fixtures offer a relaxed and comfortable feel, while additional pieces like a 19th-century mirrored vanity, a lush white rug, and a black glass chandelier make it the perfect space for comfort and relaxation.

With one of the most well-known names in fashion, it’s no wonder designer Ralph Lauren’s Bedford, N.Y. closet leaves us wide-eyed. The walk-in closet is lined with mahogany cabinets and anchored by an antique leather-upholstered bench. Leather riding boots and green baize walls complete the rustic feel of his home away from home.

Going for the Gold

When designing a personalized walk-in, these celebs decided to kick it up a notch, from extravagant pieces to additional closets.

Mariah Carey owns one of the most well-known closets in the industry, as it stores more than a thousand pairs of shoes. With gold tones and marble floors, designer Mario Buatta included Versailles-inspired pieces in Carey’s Manhattan closet that make for a luxurious and glamorous space. It’s climate controlled, too!

Lisa Adams CEO and Designer of LA Closet Design was the mastermind behind the space designed to address Khloe Kardashian’s fitness needs.

Khloe Kardashian is famous for her stellar closet and striking wardrobe, but did you know about her fitness closet? That’s right – a 150 square-foot closet, designed by LA Closet America, dedicated solely to her workout clothes and fitness equipment! The closet includes LED-lit and suede-lined shelves to display head and wrist bands, sunglasses, hair ties, and more. Talk about #fitspo.
